OUR PHILOSOPHY
Garden Artisans LLC is grounded in the belief that our day to day environment truly impacts each of us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We believe the gardens we create make life a little better for the people, animals, and plants that live both with and in the gardens.
Using ecological principals and organic methods, we create a beautiful natural space for you to enjoy while supporting and often improving the health of the environment.
A thing of beauty and an antidote to the pressures of our daily lives, the garden reconnects us with Nature.
The company makes every effort to assure healthy, respectful treatment of its employees as well. Without our employees, there would be no Garden Artisans. Employees are paid a living wage, provided with work clothing at no charge, instructed in safe work habits, and do not work with toxic garden chemicals.
They are encouraged to attend paid educational offerings on gardening and conservation, enjoy complimentary tickets to concerts and restaurant gift cards, as well as paid visits to public gardens and arboretums. Many employees return season after season. We have no winter work from December through March. New employees are hired in March of each year.
